  "full_text": "Case 21-58, Document 39-2, 04/01/2021, 3068530, Page70 of 200\n\n1 arraignment, scheduling conference, and bail hearing.\n2 Counsel, as you know, to proceed remotely today, in\n3 addition to the finding I have just made, I must also find that\n4 today's proceeding cannot be further delayed without serious\n5 harms to the interests of justice.\n6 Ms. Moe, does the government wish to be heard on that?\n7\n8 MS. MOE: Yes, your Honor.\n9 The government submits that proceeding remotely in\n10 this fashion would protect the interests of the parties and the\n11 safety in view of the pandemic. We further submit that this\n12 proceeding can be conducted remotely with full participation of\n13 the parties in view of the preparation and steps everyone has\n14 taken to ensure proper participation.\n15 THE COURT: All right. Thank you.\n16 Mr. Cohen?\n17 MR. COHEN: Your Honor, we have agreed to proceed\n18 remotely as your Honor just laid out.\n19 THE COURT: Okay. I do find that today's proceeding\n20 cannot be further delayed without serious harms to the\n21 interests of justice for, among other reasons, that the\n22 defendant, who is currently detained, seeks release on bail.\n23 The final preliminary matter I will address is public\n24 access to the proceeding, which has garnered significant public\n25 interest.
