But on direct examination, the government elicited testimony specifically about -- and let me get to my notes here so I can be accurate -- grooming the environment was the -- 6 THE COURT: Grooming the environment. 7 MR. PAGLIUCA: Yes, \"grooming the environment\" was the catchphrase, which Dr. Rocchio said was a commonly recognized phenomena used by perpetrators in the service of getting the accusers to victims and building that relationship with trust. 11 This is based on one of the articles that Dr. Rocchio provided to the government and was referenced during the Daubert hearing and relied on by Dr. Rocchio as part of her testimony here today in terms of the five -- you may recall the five stages of grooming that we went through with Dr. Rocchio about an hour ago. That article is called Stages of Sexual Grooming, Recognizing Potentially Predatory Behaviors of Child Molesters, and is disclosed at 3500 material, 3502-018, disclosed to me by the government through Dr. Rocchio. And in that article, there is a discussion at page 9, and they call it the hindsight bias phenomena.
