And the government really put its money\n6\nwhere its mouth is on this issue of notice and of the covert\n7\nnature of the investigation.\n8\nThis investigation was going on for months, and the\n9\ngovernment took extraordinary efforts not to have the defendant\n10\nfind out about it, and he didn't. And neither did anyone else\n11\nuntil the case was unsealed.\n12\nAny number of people in this court who would have\n13\nloved to have reported the fact of this investigation, and it\n14\ndidn't get out because the government was concerned that the\n15\ndefendant would flee as we continue to be now.\n16\nYour Honor, this is the Southern District. The\n17\ndefendant is indicted.
