It just doesn't make sense. Either\n5 there are other assets or there is other income. We can't make\n6 sense of this lifestyle and this set of financial disclosures.\n7 This just doesn't make sense. And as I will detail in a\n8 moment, your Honor, it is inconsistent with the limited\n9 reference we have been able to obtain as we have been making an\n10 effort to trace the defendant's finances.\n11 On that subject, your Honor, the report does raise\n12 concerns about whether the defendant has been fully transparent\n13 about her finances. As one example, the defendant told\n14 Pretrial Services that the New Hampshire property was owned by\n15 a corporation, that she does not know the name of the\n16 corporation, but that she was just permitted to stay in the\n17 house. It is difficult to believe that that was a forthcoming\n18 answer because it is implausible on its face and very\n19 confusing, but the government has continued to investigate the\n20 circumstances surrounding the purchase of that New Hampshire\n21 property.\n22 This morning, your Honor, I spoke with an F.B.I. agent\n23 who recently interviewed a real estate agent involved in that\n24 transaction in New Hampshire.
