He should have stood before you all those years ago. He\n6 should have stood before you in 2005, again in 2009, and again\n7 in 2019, all of the many times he was accused, charged, and\n8 prosecuted.\n9 But today it is not about Epstein ultimately. It is\n10 for me to be sentenced and for the victims to address me, and\n11 me alone, in this court.\n12 To you, all the victims, those who came in court and\n13 to those outside, I am sorry for the pain that you experienced.\n14 I hope that my conviction, along with my harsh and unusual\n15 incarceration, brings you closure. I hope this brings the\n16 women who have suffered some measure -- I hope that this brings\n17 the women who have suffered some measure of peace and finality\n18 to help you put the experiences of those many years ago in a\n19 place that allows you to look forward and not back.\n20 I also acknowledge the pain this case has brought to\n21 those that I love, the many I held and still hold close, which\n22 tortures me every single day, and the relationships that I have\n23 lost and will never be able to regain.\n24 It is my sincerest wish to all those in this courtroom\n25 and to all those outside this courtroom that this day brings a\nSOUTHERN DISTRICT REPORTERS, P.C...
