STERNHEIM: You are permitted to discuss what he\n8 stated publicly, and publicly he said that he --\n9 THE COURT: You misunderstand the law, or I do, but I\n10 have written an analysis of that issue in my opinion. That he\n11 revealed what happened in jury deliberations does not allow me\n12 to accept, as part of this hearing, evidence of what he said in\n13 jury deliberations. You may disagree with that legal analysis.\n14 I have written extensively about it in my February 24 opinion.\n15 I won't relitigate that now.\n16 MS. STERNHEIM: He did not tell very many people about\n17 it, then he told the world.\n18 THE COURT: Right. I pressed repeatedly on that\n19 issue. If you have a specific follow up that you would like me\n20 to ask --\n21 MR. EVERDELL: I do have some follow up. He said he\n22 didn't tell many people, but he also said he didn't think\n23 people would learn about his history of sexual abuse, despite\n24 the fact that he was telling reporters about that.
