  "full_text": "Case 1:20-cr-00330-PAE Document 737 Filed 07/22/22 Page 66 of 101 66 M6SQmaxS1\n\n1 I have known Ghislaine for many years now, and I have\n2 seen her be kind and generous to me and many others until she\n3 doesn't get what she wants from that person, and then I have\n4 seen her stop at nothing to enforce her will -- a manipulative\n5 cruel and merciless person who only uses kindness to manipulate\n6 and generosity to seek recognition.\n\n7 Today for the first time I stand with my sisters,\n8 bonded by a trauma that I wish on no one, to draw a line and to\n9 set a precedent to say enough is enough; to say no with a\n10 chorus of voices that you cannot ignore. May that chorus ring\n11 through the ears of people still being victimized and give them\n12 strength. May it echo in the ears of perpetrators to remind\n13 them that there are those of us who will never stop until we\n14 stop them.\n\n15 Today is not a happy day. I take no pleasure in being\n16 part of a world where this is necessary, but I am proud to\n17 stand shoulder to shoulder with these brave women and do what\n18 is necessary to stop Ghislaine, to hold her accountable, and\n19 for the first time in my life not to feel afraid. I could not\n20 have done this alone, and I thank those who walked alongside me\n21 and those who carried me.
