May that chorus ring\n11 through the ears of people still being victimized and give them\n12 strength. May it echo in the ears of perpetrators to remind\n13 them that there are those of us who will never stop until we\n14 stop them.\n\n15 Today is not a happy day. I take no pleasure in being\n16 part of a world where this is necessary, but I am proud to\n17 stand shoulder to shoulder with these brave women and do what\n18 is necessary to stop Ghislaine, to hold her accountable, and\n19 for the first time in my life not to feel afraid. I could not\n20 have done this alone, and I thank those who walked alongside me\n21 and those who carried me. Today I can look at Ghislaine and\n22 tell her that I became what I am today in spite of her and her\n23 efforts to make me feel powerless and insignificant, and I will\n24 pass that empowerment on to my daughter that she may never\n25 consider being silent when faced with injustice because she\n\nSOUTHERN DISTRICT REPORTERS, P.C.\n(212) 805-0300 DOJ-OGR-00011585",
