STERNHEIM: I am going to speak as best as I can.\n3 I want to acknowledge the courage that all of you have\n4 exhibited in coming forward at the trial and again today. Your\n5 statements are immensely powerful. We feel the pain. We can\n6 only hope that the end of this case and the sentence to be\n7 imposed will give you some solace and the sanctity that you\n8 have the ability to move forward and beyond all of this.\n9 Judge Nathan, can you hear me? I didn't pull it out,\n10 I hope.\n11 THE COURT: I can.\n12 MS. STERNHEIM: Okay.\n13 You have heard all of the trial testimony and you are\n14 fully familiar with the record. We will refrain from pointing\n15 out many statements that we disagree with by the government\n16 that we believe stretches the elasticity of the record well\n17 beyond what we believe is fair inference.
