So the significance of delayed disclosure as it relates to 6 my opinion is, it is part of our understanding of phenomenology 7 of child sexual abuse and the ways in which individuals tell. 8 So I'm not identifying delayed disclosure as a predictor. I'm 9 simply saying that it is a common phenomenon that is observed 10 in the scientific literature to occur among children who are 11 sexually abused. 12 Q. Well, there are many other reasons why these reports may 13 surface not immediately. Correct? 14 A. Again, I'm commenting at this point my opinion is that 15 delayed disclosure is common. I'm not -- do you have a 16 question about the reasons why? 17 Q. Yeah. There are many reasons why. There are allegations 18 that are made months, weeks, years, after an alleged event. 19 Correct? 20 A. Correct. 21 Q.
