If the court desires to leave\n2\nthe proceeding open for a week and allow us to come back, if\n3\nthe court has concerns about the number of suretors, for\n4\nexample, verification information, information about financial\n5\nissues, we think that, now that we have some ability to breathe\n6\na little bit, that we should be able to pull this together for\n7\nthe court's consideration. We came forward with the best\n8\npackage we could put together on a limited notice with a client\n9\nwho was arrested, held in custody, has been since she came to\n10\nthe MDC held in, I will call it, the equivalent of the layman's\n11\nterm of solitary confinement. There is probably a BOP word,\n12\nlike administrative seg., or some other word they have for it\n13\nnow.\n14\nWe have had a client who has been kept alone in a room\n15\nwith the lights on all the time, is not allowed to speak with\n16\nus in the jail at all, wasn't allowed to shower for 72 hours,\n17\nhad her legal materials taken away from her, only recently\n18\ngiven back. So working with that, we have been trying to\n19\nanswer questions about financial situation and others, but it\n20\nis very difficult, your Honor, under circumstances that are of\n21\nthe government's creation, of the government's creation, and\n22\nwe --\n23\nTHE COURT: So I do want to understand that point. I\n24\nthink that's the \"by design\" point that you are making.
