MODE: Your Honor, that information did not include\n4 information about her whereabouts for starters; and, second,\n5 your Honor, the defendant's communications through counsel with\n6 the government began when the government served the defendant\n7 with a grand jury subpoena following the arrest of Jeffrey\n8 Epstein. So it is unsurprising that her counsel reached out to\n9 the government, which is in the ordinary course when an\n10 investigation becomes overt.\n11 The government's communications with defense counsel\n12 have been minimal during the pendency of this investigation.\n13 Without getting into the substance, those contacts have not\n14 been substantial, your Honor.
