MOE: Yes, your Honor. And in fact, again, we\n9 would only be eliciting information about that on direct\n10 examination to front that issue for the jury in anticipation of\n11 cross-examination along those lines. To the extent the defense\n12 wishes not to cross-examine the victims about the victims\n13 compensation program, we certainly agree not to address that at\n14 all on direct examination.\n15 THE COURT: I imagine the defense does anticipate\n16 referring to civil settlements and the victims' compensation\n17 fund as part of its cross of anticipated witnesses, correct?\n18 MS.
