In your forensic practice, have you dealt with 3 A. It's consistent with my peers and reports that I've read in 4 the clinical literature, yes. 5 disclosure-related issues? 6 A. I have. 7 Q. Can you explain. 8 A. Disclosure-related issues in a forensic setting can come up 9 particularly, for example, when there are issues related to the 10 statute of limitations. So in a recent case, I was asked to 11 evaluate the time at which an individual reasonably came to be 12 aware of a connection between their present difficulties or 13 potential connection between their present difficulties and the 14 alleged abuse. And part of that case involved my looking at, 15 you know, were there any reports made about the abuse at the 16 time, because I'm working with an adult who's alleging 17 something during childhood, and if so to whom and under what 18 circumstances. And, you know, even if the reports weren't made 19 at the time of the abuse, for example, did this person talk 20 about their experiences with their therapist or when they were 21 hospitalized for substance abuse, what did they have to say. 22 So I'm looking at what they disclosed, how they 23 disclosed it.
