MOE: Thank you, your Honor.\n9    As I mentioned before, your Honor, the government has\n10   received a written statement from a victim who prefers to be\n11   referred to as Jane Doe today in order to protect her privacy.\n12   The following are the words of Jane Doe which I will read from\n13   her written statement.\n14   Jane Doe wrote:\n15   \"I knew Ghislaine Maxwell for over ten years. It was\n16   her calculating and sadistic manipulation that anesthetized me,\n17   in order to deliver me, with full knowledge of the heinous and\n18   dehumanizing abuse that awaited me, straight to the hands of\n19   Jeffrey Epstein. Without Ghislaine, Jeffrey could not have\n20   done what he did. She was in charge. She egged him on and\n21   encouraged him. She told me of others she recruited and she\n22   thought it was funny.
