I was chief pilot for about 13 years, and then captain and first officer and flight engineer.\n5 Q. About when were you first hired?\n6 A. I was first hired in July of 1991.\n7 Q. Who hired you?\n8 A. Jeffrey Epstein.\n9 Q. Where were you hired?\n10 A. Columbus, Ohio.\n11 Q. How did you come to be hired?\n12 A. I had been flying a Hawker for a real estate developer in Columbus, Ohio for several years. And we had just sold our airplane. So the aviation manager for the limited flight department asked me if I would be interested in flying for Jeffrey Epstein, who was about to purchase the same type of airplane I'd been flying. And I told him yes.\n13 And so the next day I had an interview with Jeffrey. And he hired me and said, You can hire anybody you want to work with you.\n14 Q.
