EVERDELL: Your Honor, I think this is pretty -- I think this is a question about whether you can hold her accountable for a return flight, if you believe that she had something to do with arranging that return flight from New Mexico; whereas the first flight to New Mexico may have been -- at least there's some testimony to consider about whether that was for the purpose of illegal sexual activity. It was not true of the return flight, the flight back, wherever she was going, home, somewhere else, somewhere away from Mr. Epstein. I think they are asking, Can we consider if Ms. Maxwell had anything to do with that flight, arranging of that flight, whether she can be convicted, because it's on the return trip from an area where Jane claims she was involved in sexual abuse.
